NRDRV is an organisation that bridges people and communities in need whom have suffered loss through natural disaster with volunteers ready, willing and able to assist in recovery works whilst providing and amazing setting accommodation and truly a once in a lifetime experience.

Our Story
NRDRV began with real lived experience in natural disaster recovery. During the devastating February 2022 Northern Rivers floods, property connected to one of our founders was severely impacted. 
A total write-off. He also lost tools, materials, machinery, and equipment. Everything. 100's of thousands of dollars. His whole livelihood.
This gave NRDRV a firsthand understanding of how overwhelming flood recovery can be, especially for elderly residents, isolated property owners, and people who lack the physical ability or support network to carry out recovery work themselves. This experience sparked a need to help communities affected by natural disasters.

NRDRV understands the value of volunteering, travel, and community connection.

Volunteering in regional communities allows travellers to experience the real heart of Australia, build friendships, make contacts, contribute meaningfully, and become part of a community rather than just passing through.



Carrying this work out together, in a meaningful way .. hanging out together socially in your downtime really does create a family like atmosphere that many have expressed as something that really missed from being away from home .. and an experience that they cherish and hold dear for the rest of their lives.
